Thoughts on the 2011 International Pizza Cake Day

Well, it's been about a week since this year's International Pizza Cake Day celebration, and I'm finally getting over the post-celebration blues.

Don't get me wrong - the celebration we had was AWESOME! Pizza and Pizza Cake were enjoyed by all, and the whole event was an incredible success. It's just that after such an awesome high, there's naturally a little bit of low. But a week has gone by, and I'm now up to sharing some thoughts on the 2011 celebration:

1. A great International Pizza Cake Day celebration starts with free pizza! My employer caught the Pizza Cake fever this year, and provided a free pizza lunch to our whole team - this is a really great way to kick off the celebration - it brings everyone together and really puts everyone in a celebratory mood.

2. Pizza + Cake = Pizza Cake
This year, we ordered a Pizza Cake and had it delivered - the Pizza Cake was delivered in a traditional pizza box, and all party attendees held their breath as the box was opened and the Pizza Cake was revealed (more details on the cake later!):

3. International Pizza Cake Day is about enjoying a slice of Cake That Looks Like a Pizza with people that you love. While I love me some Pizza Cake while chillaxing on the couch at home by myself, it's even better to share Pizza Cake with the people you love - this day is about having fun with the entire PC Community!

So there are some of my initial thoughts... in the upcoming weeks I want to share some more details on the celebration, as well as an in-depth analysis of  the actual Pizza Cake we enjoyed at this year's celebration.

Keep that Pizza Cake spirit alive!
